Overall, they are what they advertise, however I have seen better if you’re willing to spend a bit more for them. I purchased this battery candle with timer for Christmas decor and I am truly satisfied with item quality. I really like the idea of these candles, no flame and long lasting. I got myself the white set of these candles. The flicker on these isn’t subtle, they probably will not fool anybody, but for the cost they are able to provide fantastic ambience. Other than that, they’ve stayed in the box untouched. The batteries last a long time, as well. Very useful for candles in awkward to reach places. They are perfect, the flicker is really realistic and we never need to worry about the flame being blown out. I ordered six all together but I will get more. What I do not care for is that they burn with an orange glow. They will not light up the room, but will add ambiance.
